The structure of Contratex forms an effective screen, so that a hair drier in the highest position - placed on a distance of 10 centimetres before the screen - isn't capable to move the flame of a candle, that also is placed on a distance of 10 cm behind the screen This picture clearly shows that Contratex not only has a high braking effect with regard to the air-velocity, but also causes a sucking action on the inside through the specific structure of the fabric over a distance of 7 centimetres.

By placing Contratex in the ceiling you prevent the strong whirls that are caused by open eaves, fronts or dry ridges.

Windows can be changed into a constant source of clean air by Contratex.

Ventilation in the floor become innocent oxygen-donors.




This new loft of 9 x 2 meter was placed in February 1998. The screens were placed before the apertures of 2 x 2 meter. Despite of the position on the south-west and the very bad weather conditions, the pigeons on this loft - without heating - were totally dominating and showed a close-fitting feathercover and a high desire to fly in all weathers.
